NAUGHTONS NAMED BEST POOL SHOP IN VICTORIA

Naughtons Pools and Spas in Echuca has been named Best Pool Shop in Victoria at a major awards ceremony in Melbourne at the weekend.

The locally-owned and operated business also won the category for Best Concrete Pool by a Country Member at the Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria (SPASA) Awards of Excellence.

It is the third consecutive year Naughtons has received acclaim by the pool industry’s peak state body.

In 2010 and 2011, the pool, spa and landscape design business won Best Residential Fibreglass Pool under $35,000 and in 2011 was also awarded Best Pool Display for its newly opened display centre in Shepparton and Sales Person of the Year (Retail).

Naughtons director Justin Hatfield said the awards showcased excellence in the swimming pool and spa industry and were designed to promote achievement in design, construction, innovation and professionalism across the industry.

“We are extremely proud of our successes at the weekend as this is the first time we have won either of these prestigious awards,” Mr Hatfield said.

“SPASA is the pool industry’s highest ranked body and to receive such strong endorsement from them three years in a row is wonderful recognition of the diversity and professionalism of our business.

“It reaffirms our position as leaders in the industry and is acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication of our fantastic team in both Echuca and Shepparton.
 
“We are excited to be able to provide the local area with excellence in concrete swimming pool design, innovation and construction and ongoing, professional support from a pool shop with the best in quality chemicals, equipment and spas.”

The Awards of Excellence presentation event was held at the National Gallery in Melbourne on Saturday night and was hosted by media personality and Olympian Nicole Livingstone.

  

NAUGHTONS SWEEPS THE POOL IN STATE AWARDS

Echuca-based business Naughtons Pools & Spas has been recognised as a leader in its field by the pool industry’s peak state body.

In a major coup for the locally-owned and operated business, Naughtons won three major awards at the weekend’s highly coveted Swimming Pool and Spa Association of Victoria (SPASA) Gala Awards ceremony in Melbourne.

The pool, spa and landscape design business was awarded Best Residential Fibreglass Pool under $35,000 for a swimming pool in Echuca and Best Pool Display for its newly opened display centre in Shepparton.

Naughtons Pools & Spas salesman Mark Hay was recognised as Victoria’s Sales Person of the Year (Retail).

Naughtons director Justin Hatfield said they were ecstatic to receive such strong endorsement by the pool industry’s highest ranked body.

Mr. Hatfield said the award success was proof that regionally-based businesses could match it with their metropolitan counterparts.

“We have a young and successful team at Naughtons who are passionate about what we do and where we live and it is terrific to see that shining through in our business,” he said.

“Installing a pool or spa involves many specialised trades and techniques, from engineering drawings to obtaining a permit, all of which need to be perfectly coordinated.

“The SPASA awards are weighted on these and many other aspects of the pool building and supply process and as a consequence are highly recognised awards in the industry.”

SPASA chief executive officer Brendan Watkins said the level of excellence demonstrated by the entries in the 2011 SPASA Awards of Excellence was ‘quite simply stunning’.

“SPASA members are the leading exponents within the Victorian pool and spa industry,” Mr. Watkins said.

The Awards of Excellence presentation event was held at ZINC, in Melbourne on Saturday night and was hosted by media personality and Olympian Nicole Livingstone.

Milestone Celebrations...
